Mark your calendars, save the date, come out and run with us on
Saturday, June 28th, 2014!
Our 3rd annual race will include a 5K, 10K and 1 mile fun run in beautiful Huntington Center. The race starts at the Community Church of Huntington and courses up the Main Rd and Camel's Hump Road passing beautiful fields and traveling on a dirt road in the shadow of iconic Camel's Hump Mountain. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each race, male and female adult/kid divisions. Every runner wins an ice cream sundae, and those who register by 6/18 are guaranteed a t-shirt!
Why This Race?
Proceeds go to "Neighbor Helping Neighbor" which gives financial support to struggling individuals in the Huntington community and surrounding areas. Recipients may include a senior citizen who can't pay his heating bill, a flood victim who needs help replacing household staples, or a single mother who needs help with a grocery bill.
Donations may be made by clicking on the Run Sign Up icon above.
Race 4 Sundaes will be held rain or shine unless flooding, thunderstorms or other emergency weather occurs! Please see our weather policy for more details!
