Race date: THE LAST SATURDAY OF JUNE-- 6/30/18

​Why This Race?
Proceeds go to "Neighbor Helping Neighbor" which gives financial support to struggling individuals in the Huntington community and surrounding areas.  Recipients may include a senior citizen who can't pay their heating bill, a flood victim who needs help replacing household staples or a single mother who needs help with a grocery bill.  

Start times
1-Mile fun walk/run starts at 8:30am
5K & 10K races start at 9:00am

Registration
Online registration ends Wednesday evening, June 27th at 10 pm
Day of Race Registration starts at 7:45 closes at 8:15 am
All runners must check in 7:45-8:20 am


Register by Friday, June 15th to guarantee a t-shirt and ensure you get your size! During race day, extra t-shirts will be distributed until they are gone. We plan to order additional kid sizes.

Race Course Details
The race starts on the pavement of the Main Road in Huntington and then travels on Camel's Hump Road — a dirt road that passes grassy fields and a scenic river as it gently slopes up towards one of the state's most iconic mountains, Camel's Hump!

  • The 5K race has a slight incline on a mostly dirt road.
  • 10K has the same incline on a dirt road as the 5K with a bit more pavement.
  • The 1-mile fun run/walk is on a mostly dirt road. 

All races start and end at the Community Church of Huntington where all registered runners will receive a free sundae!

Weather Policy
Race 4 Sundaes will be held rain or shine unless flooding, thunderstorms or other emergency weather occurs! Please see our weather policy for more details!
